1. Who we are

Tarestack is a trading name of Nikah AI Ltd (“we”, “us”), a company registered in England and Wales (company no. 17199968), registered office Office 1216, 60 Tottenham Court Road, London W1T 2EW. Contact: support@tarestack.co.uk.

2. What these terms cover

These terms cover the Tarestack Pro subscription (a licence key, the Tarestack Pro plugin download, updates and email support) and the tarestack.co.uk website. The free Tarestack plugin is distributed on WordPress.org under the GNU General Public License v2 or later; that licence, not these terms, governs your rights in its code. Tarestack Pro’s code is also GPL; your subscription pays for the licence key, access to updates and support, and does not limit your rights under the GPL.

Tarestack Pro is designed for businesses. If you buy as a consumer, the parts of these terms marked for consumers apply to you, and nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.

3. Not compliance or legal advice

Tarestack is a data-preparation tool, not compliance or legal advice. You are responsible for determining your EPR obligations and for the accuracy of what you submit to Defra/the environmental regulators. Tarestack prepares data from the packaging information you enter and the orders in your WooCommerce store. We do not decide whether you are an obligated producer, whether you are a small or large producer, what counts as your packaging, how it should be classified, or what you should submit. You must check every file before you submit it. The Defra specification can change; we aim to update Tarestack Pro within a reasonable time after a change but cannot promise a date.

4. Your subscription

• Plans: small producer (£12 a month or £120 a year, 1 live site) and large producer (£29 a month or £290 a year, 3 live sites). Prices are in pounds sterling and the price shown is the price you pay.
• A subscription renews automatically at the end of each monthly or annual period, at the then-current price, until you cancel. We will give you at least 30 days’ notice of a price change, and you can cancel before it takes effect.
• You can cancel at any time in the Stripe customer portal (“Manage subscription” on this site or in the plugin). Cancellation stops the next renewal; Pro keeps working until the end of the period you have paid for.
• If a renewal payment fails, Pro keeps working for 7 days while Stripe retries the payment. If it is still unpaid after that, the licence stops renewing.
• When a subscription ends, the Defra export in Tarestack Pro switches off. Your data is not deleted: the free plugin’s report and summary CSV, your saved records and the SKU export keep working.

5. Licence keys and sites

Your key may be activated on the number of live sites in your plan. Local and staging addresses (such as localhost, .local and .test) do not count. You may move a key by deactivating it on one site first. Do not share your key beyond your plan or try to get around the licence checks. Keys are shown on the page after payment (and in a licence.txt file you can download there) and can be recovered at /recover; we do not send keys by email.

6. Right to cancel (consumers)

If you buy as a consumer, you would normally have 14 days to cancel a contract for digital content. Tarestack Pro is supplied immediately: before paying, you expressly asked for supply to start straight away and acknowledged that you lose the right to cancel once the licence key is shown. This does not affect your right to cancel the subscription for future periods at any time, or your rights if the digital content is faulty. See our Refund and Cancellation Policy.

7. Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe on its own pages. Stripe’s checkout may name a Stripe reseller as the seller (at the time of writing it shows “Sold through Onelink”); where it does, that reseller sells the subscription to you and handles the tax on it, the price you pay stays the price shown, and these terms govern your use of Tarestack Pro. Stripe’s and the reseller’s own terms apply to their payment, checkout and customer-portal services.

8. Your responsibilities

• Keep your packaging data accurate and check the output before you rely on it.
• Keep your WordPress, WooCommerce and PHP versions within the supported range stated in the plugin’s readme.
• Do not misuse the licence service, for example by automated attempts to guess keys.

9. Availability and changes

We aim to keep the licence service and website available, but do not promise uninterrupted service. A valid key keeps working offline until it expires, even if the service is unreachable. We may change or improve Tarestack Pro; we will not remove the core Defra export from a paid-for period.

10. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be limited or excluded by law. If you are a consumer, nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights, including under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

Subject to that: (a) if you are a business, we are not liable for loss of profit, revenue, business or goodwill, for indirect or consequential loss, or for fines, penalties, fees or charges imposed by any regulator, scheme administrator or authority; and (b) our total liability to you arising out of or in connection with Tarestack and these terms, however arising, is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. The free plugin is provided without charge and, to the extent the law allows, without warranty, as its GPL licence states.

11. Ending these terms

We may suspend or end your subscription if you materially break these terms and do not put it right within 14 days of our notice (or straight away for fraud or abuse of the licence service). If we end the service for our convenience, we will refund any unused part of a prepaid period.

12. Privacy

How we use personal data is explained in our Privacy Notice. We do not receive or process your customers’ data: the plugins read order data only on your own server.

13. General

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, except that a consumer living in Scotland or Northern Ireland may also bring proceedings there. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in force. We may update these terms; the version in force when you last renewed applies to that period.
